Microphone Positioning
You can purchase the best microphone, interface and software – if your positioning is off, thats all for nothing.
The first step is always positioning. I will guide you trough the process and make sure you have the ideal distance and angle to your microphone depening on your equipment and speaking-style. Only if this checkmark is set, we can continue the process.
Noisecancelation and Gating:
Not everyone has the possibility to built a perfect homestudio with no backgroundnoise,
echoing and hall. Thanks to latest and inovative tools it is possible to reduce those
negative effects to a minimum or even eliminate them compleltley.
However, recording next to a jackhammer is still not possible.
Equalization and Tuning
By default most microphones sound very basic, uninteresting and almost boring. Even high-quality microphones like a Shure SM7B does not come with fancy equalization settings.
Thats why a EQ setup is important. We will highlight the most important frequencies of your voice and also background the frequencies we dont need or want to have in the recording.
Ultimatly we will ofcourse also tune to your personal preferences and likings.
Compression
Naturaly the volume of your voice does shift from very silent to very loud. In recording and streaming we dont want such a dynamic signal. Thats where compression gets handy.
We minimize this dynamic volume spikes, compress the signal and aim for the perfect output volume for your recordings.
